
General Terms and Conditions of Purchase
General conditions apply to marmont.se, which is operated by Ocean Team Svenska AB ( 556922-3471), hereinafter referred to as Marmont.
Generally
When selling to consumers, Marmont applies the mandatory rules that follow from the applicable legislation. More information about the Distance and Home Sales Act and the Consumer Purchase Act can be found at www.konsumentverket.se.
Buyer must be of legal age or have guardian permission.
Payment method
Klarna invoice
Marmont collaborates with Klarna AB and uses their service for invoice payment. This means that your invoice and thus your debt is transferred to Klarna AB. Payment terms are 30 days net, after the order is shipped from our warehouse. The invoice is sent by email only. You must be over 18 years of age and have a registered address in Sweden to be able to shop on invoice. . For security reasons, orders with invoice payment can only be sent to the address where you are registered. If Klarna AB's requirements are not met, you will be asked to choose another payment option.
Card payment
We use Klarna or Stripe as a supplier of technical solutions for card payments. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant. PCI DSS is the global security standard for all devices that store, handle or transmit card data and/or sensitive credentials. PCI DSS sets a fundamental standard intended to protect consumers and help prevent fraud and information leakage throughout the payment ecosystem. The standard is applied to all organizations that receive or handle payment cards. The payment solution applies 3D secure. 3D secure is a technical security standard developed by Visa and Mastercard with the aim of giving the card issuer the opportunity to verify the identity of its card customer when trading on the internet. For increased security, the customer must provide the card's CVC code (Mastercard/Eurocard) or CVV code (VISA) which is printed in the signature field on the back of your card. When the order is placed, the amount is reserved on the account, no money is withdrawn until the goods have been delivered.
Direct payment via bank
You are routed via Klarna to your own bank and transfer the money using your banks payment solution
Klarna - Split the payment
Through a collaboration with Klarna, we can offer you the opportunity to split your payment. There are several options to choose from and you choose the most suitable one. Of course, you can pay the entire remaining debt at any time during the installment period. You can have from SEK 1,000 up to SEK 150,000 in your installment account. All purchases you make via Klarna's service to split the payment are compiled on a monthly account invoice.
Simple and flexible. You will be notified immediately if your application has been approved and we can handle your purchase immediately. Should your application not be granted, you can go back to the checkout and choose an alternative payment method.
Klarna will send you an account agreement for signature if your purchase is greater than SEK 1,500. Check that the information is correct and sign the agreement and return it in the attached reply envelope.

Installment option Campaign
Installation fee from SEK 95 - SEK 295 (Example - may vary) is added as well as a notification fee of SEK 29/month.
Effective interest Effective interest on purchases of SEK 10,000 with basic terms, calculated according to the Swedish Consumer Agency guidelines, is currently (2009-01-01) 26.99%.
Account agreement. Klarna will send an account agreement to the consumer for signature in connection with the approved credit response.
The agreement states when the agreement must be available to Klarna again. If the agreement does not reach Klarna again, Klarna will send out a reminder with a new invoice for the entire remaining debt according to invoice terms.
Your application will cause a customary credit check, which means that Klarna Europe AB obtains a credit report.

Order and delivery
Ordering takes place via www.marmont.se. In order for an order to be binding for Marmont, the order must be confirmed in writing by Marmont before completed delivery. This means, among other things, that if the product range has been discontinued or for some other reason the product is not available with the observance of reasonable efforts, Marmont is not obliged to provide such product even though the customer has ordered the same as above.
At marmont.se, VAT is always included in the stated price. We offer free shipping on purchases over SEK 499 wthin Sweden on all postal packages. The shipping cost depends on the customer choice of delivery method. The delivery time is normally 2-3 working days if the products are in Marmonts warehouse, 5-10 if they are ordered on request directly from the suppliers warehouse. The current stock status of the products is indicated under each specific product.
All deliveries take place after notification. When handing out/delivery of the products, the customer must always show identification. Only the person with the name on the package may pick it up at the post office or alternatively with the help of a courier.
If an extensive delivery delay occurs, the customer will be notified by email or phone call from Marmont. The customer always has the right to cancel the purchase in case of long-term delivery delays. There may be times when it is impossible to fulfill an order, for example if Marmonts supplier cannot fulfill its commitment to Marmont. Marmont therefore reserves the right to disclaim all claims for compensation from the customer regarding delivery delays.
Marmont is responsible for the risk during transport to the customer, i.e. the risk of a product being damaged or lost during transport to the customer. The customer bears the risk of any return to Marmont.
The customer is responsible for reporting any transport damage to Marmonts customer service within a reasonable time. Marmont urges the customer to report the damage as quickly as possible, for smooth handling of the matter. The customer is responsible for unpacking and inspecting the condition of the products as soon as possible after receipt. In the event of transport damage, the customer must contact Marmont by e-mail: info@marmont.se or phone: 070 656 88 80. In the event of transport damage, the customer must not use the product and the customer must keep the product's packaging, so that the entire package and product can be inspected when handling claims case.
Unclaimed packages
Please note that it is important that you accept the order and do not let the shipment go back as unclaimed. You will be charged the return cost for unredeemed deliveries.
Wrong deliveries
In the event of a wrong delivery, you have the obligation to notify us and return the wrongly sent item, unless otherwise stated.
Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal only applies if the product and the original packaging are in unchanged condition When using the right of withdrawal, we have the right to make a deduction corresponding to the reduction in value that occurred as a result of the customer handling the item to a greater extent than was necessary for to determine its characteristics or function. The reduction in value is assessed on a case-by-case basis. The cancellation period starts from the day the customer has received the product.
In the event of an undone purchase, you are responsible for the return shipping, which can be prohibitively high for, for example, an outdoor kitchen. The return shipping is deducted from the refund to you. Refunds are made to the account specified at the time of purchase. We aim to process all returns as quickly as possible, within 14 days at the latest. After your return is processed, the money is refunded immediately and can usually be seen in your bank account within a few days. If you have paid with Mastercard or a similar card, it may take a little longer depending on the agreement with your bank.
The product must be returned to us complete, which means that accessories, instructions for use, product packaging, inner packaging etc. must be included in the return.
ATTENTION! We are not able to pick up packages that are sent to agents. Therefore, use the waybill sent out by our customer service or use a shipping service that can offer the service.
You as the customer bear the risk if the product is damaged when it is shipped back to us. Therefore, remember to package the item well. Use the outer packaging in which you received the item.
Marmont does not offer open purchase.
Warranty and complaint
Marmont offers at least a 12-month warranty and a 36-month right of complaint to private individuals. Most products in our online store are intended for outdoor household use unless otherwise stated. Household products used in a commercial environment are not guaranteed.
Your warranty and right of complaint cover malfunctions that occur during your warranty or complaint period. In cases where the product is not affected by a functional fault but a so-called handling fault (e.g. incorrectly set product, damage due to negligence, etc.) we have the right to charge you an examination fee, including shipping and handling costs. The examination fee is SEK 600 including VAT. Therefore, keep in mind that it is important that you follow the recommendations and care instructions that come with the product or that we inform you about.

Pictures on the website
We try to reproduce the colors and shades of our products as accurately as possible, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the images shown on the webshop are perceived as accurate in reality.
Possible factors for possible shade differences may for example depend on the monitor setting.

Changed information
We reserve the right to subsequently correct any incorrect or changed information regarding price and delivery time. We reserve the right for possible misprints in product information, price and stock balance.
Discount codes
Please note that the code cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers. The discount code is only valid for 1 purchase and cannot be registered after the purchase has been completed.
Disputes and choice of law
Swedish law shall be applied to these purchase conditions. Any dispute must be resolved by either the Allmänna reklamentationsnämnden (ARN) in Sweden or the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (EU ODR).

Handling of personal data
On May 25, 2018, the GDPR entered into force. It is a common law that will ensure that the same rules apply everywhere throughout Europe. When you shop with us, an account is automatically created and an email with instructions will be sent to the specified email address at the time of purchase. This service allows you to keep track of your orders.

If you choose to pay by invoice, your social security number is also saved. We store your data upon purchase for 7 years in accordance with the Accounting Act.
